"A lead teacher wrote to say, “Jarabe were professional and personable. They made an instant connection with our students and asked lots of questions about our mariachi program and made suggestions for future contacts to help us with the mariachi. They presented a variety of musical genres and their performance was both educational and enjoyable.” Given how we run our program, it’s refreshing to work with an agency that both understands our mission so well and has artists that are so passionate about presenting work to audiences in a way that furthers our mission. I can count on MLAM to provide excellent, accessible materials before the visit and well-prepared artists who thoughtfully engage in EVERY venue, with EVERY audience we schedule. I appreciate all of their efforts, from my first question about an artist in residence to the last note played at an engagement!"

"Another GREAT concert at the Basalt Regional Library!!! It would take a long time to enumerate the enthusiastic comments that patrons have shared with me! Your ability to capture the audience is amazing......it’s an art in itself. Add to that your individual reservoirs of talent, and you have the formula for a successful concert! Thank you for sharing your passion for music with our community. The AMFS staff members expressed appreciation for your skillful conducting of a very successful workshop. Your educational approach to music did not go unnoticed. When children walk out of the room saying,’that was fun!’, you know you succeeded in sharing music with them."

"The musicians from Jarabe were FANTASTIC. The residency went smoothly, and every single event was nothing short of a success. All students of any age were engaged, enthusiastic, and had fantastic questions. We had multiple groups raise their hands and ask to dance! Their final performance was a joy. We only had good feedback, with more requests for various styles of music. We also saw a different audience than past shows."
MEGAN GILBY, City and County of Broomfield
"They were absolutely fantastic! The talent, energy, kindness…the community loved them as did the kids and teachers at the school."
